The idea behind the Aurora Group
The foundation of the Aurora Group is the result of a close co-operation in 1998 between the company then named OSK Elektrotilbehør AS (Norway) and Rudolph Schmidt A/S (Denmark.)
Both companies anticipated a future need from capital chains to have a strong partner to supply products and services to their shops in several countries.
With this in mind, the Aurora Group was established, which at the beginning was a close co-operation between the above-mentioned companies and the earlier Ortofon subsidiary OrtoConnex in Sweden.
The Aurora Group has since developed into a real group, when Rudolph Schmidt A/S bought the share capital in OSK Elektrotilbehør AS, OrtoConnex Ab and also in the Finnish TeleTarvike Järvinen Oy.
Later on the Norwegian tCom AS with the Swedish subsidiary tCom Parts AB was bought and integrated into the gorup. In the summer of 2007 a change of name was carried out in all companies. |
